Pokemon Go September 14 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, September 13th, 2021 7:12 am

Earn lots of experience points in a short amount of time!

Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on September 14, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Baltoy will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.

Baltoy is a Ground- and Psychic-type Pokemon from the third generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Baltoy into Claydol using 50 Baltoy Candy.

Shiny Baltoy is available in Pokemon Go.

To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Baltoy to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Plus, you can activate a Lucky Egg to double the number of experience points you’ll earn for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points during this event.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, there are still two more of these events to look forward to in September 2021. On September 21, Skitty will be the featured Pokemon, while Alolan Meowth will be the star of the Spotlight Hour event that takes place on September 28.
