Pokemon Go February 14, 2023 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, February 13th, 2023 8:20 am

Players can earn extra Stardust for a limited time.

The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on February 14, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Woobat will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.

Woobat is a Psychic- and Flying-type Pokemon from the fifth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Woobat into Swoobat using 50 Woobat Candy after you’ve walked with Woobat as your Buddy Pokemon for 1 km.

Shiny Woobat is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Woobat is pale green, rather than pale blue.

To make the most of this week’s event, remember you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Woobat to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

In addition, you can activate a Star Piece to earn 50 percent more Stardust when completing in-game actions for 30 minutes. This Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust for each Pokemon you capture during this event.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour event, two more of these events are scheduled to take place in February 2023. Jigglypuff will be featured during the Spotlight Hour event on February 21, while Slakoth will be featured during the Spotlight Hour event on February 28.
