There’s one final adventure for players to complete!

The Epilogue is now available for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero downloadable content (DLC) for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet on Nintendo Switch!

In order to access the Epilogue, players need to have completed a “postgame event” in Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, as well as completed the stories of The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLCs.

Here’s how to start this Epilogue to experience the game’s newest content!

As spotted by Serebii.net, with this release, players can now claim a free Mythical Pecha Berry from the game’s Mystery Gift feature.

According to a video posted on the official Pokemon YouTube channel (and embedded below), this item “might cause something special to happen at Peachy’s in Mossui Town…”

In order to start the Epilogue content in Pokemon Scarlet or Violet, players will first need to claim the Mythical Pecha Berry by opening the game’s menu screen, choosing “Poke Portal,” selecting “Mystery Gift,” and then choosing “Get via Internet.” From there, they can follow the on-screen text to receive the Mythical Pecha Berry.

Once players receive the Mythical Pecha Berry, they’ll need to travel to Mossui Town on the game’s Kitakami map (where the Teal Mask DLC took place).

From there, players will need to head to Peachy’s, which is found on the east side of Mossui Town. (If you travel to Mossui Town using the Community Center fast travel point on the map, your character will appear on the Union Circle facing Peachy’s.)

Rather than talking to the store owner, players will need to stand near the pink decorative item on the left side of the shop’s counter and press the “A” button to trigger a cutscene, which kicks off the Epilogue story.
