Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto Green Collection Challenge Guide

Friday, February 19th, 2021 1:38 pm

This challenge can be completed in one of two ways.

Trainers, the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event officially kicks off on February 20 at 9 a.m. local time, which means it’s already started in some areas around the world!

Ticket holders for this partially ticketed event will have access to 10 Collection Challenges, which ask them to collect certain groups of Pokemon before February 28 at 7:59 p.m. local time. Some of these Challenges are inspired by locations from the first two Pokemon video games, while the others are focused on the ways players can collect the Pokemon required to complete them.

One of these Challenges is the Green Collection Challenge. This Challenge can be completed in one of two ways, depending on which version of the Pokemon Go Tour Kanto event you chose to experience (Red or Green).

Here’s everything you need to know about completing the Green Collection Challenge in Pokemon Go!

According to Serebii.net, the Green Collection Challenge asks players to collect six Pokemon:

  • Sandshrew
  • Vulpix
  • Mewoth
  • Bellsprout
  • Magmar
  • Pinsir

If you chose the Red version of the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto ticket, you can collect these Pokemon by trading with a player who chose the Green version of the ticket. Or, if you chose the Green version of the Kanto event ticket, you can collect these Pokemon by activating an Incense.

According to Serebii.net, once you complete this Collection Challenge, you’ll receive 1,510 Stardust, one Lucky Egg, and one Silver Pinap Berry.

Remember, even if you don’t finish this Collection Challenge during the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event itself, you will still have the chance to complete it during the 2021 Kanto Celebration Event, which will run from February 21 at 10 a.m. local time until February 27 at 8 p.m. local time. You can learn more about this Kanto Celebration event right here.
