Pokemon Go The Feeling of Victory Special Research Tasks Guide

Trainers, a new series of Special Research tasks is available to complete in Pokemon Go.

The series is called “The Feeling of Victory,” and, according to The Silph Road subreddit, it has six different sets of tasks to complete.

If you didn’t purchase a ticket to Pokemon Go Fest 2020, this Special Research will allow you to encounter Victini and add this Mythical Pokemon to your collection. If you’ve already captured Victini from the Go Fest tasks, you’ll receive Victini Candy instead.

Here’s what these new tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them.

The Feeling of Victory Part 1

• Catch 30 Pokemon – 3 Pinap Berries
• Spin 30 PokeStops or Gyms – 1,000 experience points
• Send 10 Gifts to Friends – 1,000 Stardust

Final Rewards: According to The Silph Road subreddit, you’ll receive 30 Great Balls, 1,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Ralts when all three tasks are completed.

Here are the tasks and rewards for Parts 2 – 6, according to The Silph Road subreddit (via Future Game Releases).

The Feeling of Victory Part 2

• Catch 30 Psychic-type Pokemon – An encounter with Elgyem
• Catch 30 Fire-type Pokemon – An encounter with Darumaka
• Hatch 3 Eggs – 1 Egg Incubator

Final Rewards: 30 Great Balls, 1,000 experience points, and an encounter with Torchic when all three tasks are completed

The Feeling of Victory Part 3

• Take a Snapshot of Your Buddy – 1 Poffin
• Earn 3 Candies Walking With Your Buddy – 1,000 Stardust
• Power Up Pokemon 3 Times – 3 Hyper Potions

Final Rewards: 3 Revives, 1,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Espeon when all three tasks are completed

The Feeling of Victory Part 4

• Win 3 Gym Battles – 1,000 experience points
• Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts – 1 Lure Module
• Win 3 Raids – 1,000 Stardust

Final Rewards: 3 Max Potions, 3 Max Revives, and an encounter with Victini when all three tasks are completed (if you caught Victini by completing the Go Fest tasks, you’ll receive 20 Victini Candy instead)

The Feeling of Victory Part 5

• Take a Snapshot of Victini – 20 Victini Candy
• Catch 30 Different Species of Pokemon – 1 Incense
• Send 3 Gifts to Friends – 1,000 experience points

Rewards: 1 Victini Stamp, 3,000 Stardust, and 1 Star Piece when all three tasks are completed

The Feeling of Victory Part 6

• Automatically completed task – 3,000 experience points
• Automatically completed task – 3,000 Stardust
• Automatically completed task – 3,000 experience points

Rewards: 1 Lure Module, 20 Victini Candy, and a Lucky Egg when all three tasks are completed
