Complete special Timed Research tasks without leaving the house.
Trainers, if you’ve yet to add a Shiny Snubbull to your collection in Pokemon Go, this weekend will give you a pretty decent chance of finding one (though, unfortunately, it still won’t be guaranteed).
On May 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time, a Snubbull Limited Research event will allow you to complete more than 50 Timed Research tasks that reward you with a Snubbull encounter. Each time you encounter Snubbull, there will be the chance for it to be Shiny!
While we don’t know exactly what these Timed Research tasks will ask players to do, in a news post, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, said you’ll be able to complete these tasks “right from the comfort of your home.”
Unlike regular Field Research tasks, which can be completed at any time once they’re collected, these Timed Research tasks will disappear after 10 p.m. local time on May 9. If you want to stock up on Snubbull Candy or have the best chance of finding a Shiny Snubbull, you’ll need to be ready to play on May 9!
