Pokemon Go September 6, 2022 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, September 5th, 2022 7:27 am

Players can earn bonus Stardust for a limited time.

The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on September 6, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Munna will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.

Munna is a Psychic-type Pokemon from the fifth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Munna into Musharna using 50 Munna Candy and a Unova Stone.

Shiny Munna is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Munna is yellow, rather than pink.

To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Munna to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Also remember that you can activate a Star Piece to earn more Stardust for a limited time. This Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust for each Pokemon you capture during this event.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour event, three more of these events are scheduled to take place in September 2022. Here’s the schedule:

  • September 13 – Ralts
  • September 20 – Aron
  • September 27 – Minccino
