Here's everything you need to know about this short event.
Trainers, the Psychic Spectacular Event starts today in Pokemon Go!
From March 27 at 8 a.m. to March 30 at 10 p.m. local time, Psychic-type Pokemon will appear more often in the wild and in Raids. You’ll also be able to collect special “Psychic Spectacular” Field Research tasks by visiting PokeStops during this event. And you may encounter Shiny Baltoy.
In addition, Solosis and Gothita will make their in-game debut as part of this event. Specifically, you’ll be able to encounter Solosis in the wild during the day, and then encounter Gothita in the wild at night. If you don’t capture these Pokemon during this event, they’ll still be around in the wild, and in 5 km Eggs, after the event ends.
Finally, Abra, Drowzee, Ralts, Spoink, Baltoy, Wynaut, Beldum, Gothita, and Solosis will hatch more often from 2 km Eggs that are collected during this event.
Lots of changes and updates have been added to Pokemon Go in recent days. For instance, until further notice, you’ll earn three times the normal amount of Stardust and experience points when you capture your first Pokemon each day. You can also hold more Gifts at once and open more Gifts each day. For more information about the game’s recent changes and updates, check out our previous coverage.
