It's a great time to evolve Pokemon!
Trainers, the final Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event in October 2021 is scheduled to take place on October 26 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Murkrow will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal number of experience points for evolving Pokemon.
Murkrow is a Dark- and Flying-type Pokemon from the second generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Murkrow into Honchkrow using 100 Murkrow Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
Shiny Murkrow is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Murkrow is purple, rather than dark blue.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Murkrow to encounter and more changes to potentially find a Shiny one.
Plus, if you plan on evolving lots of pocket monsters during this event, you may want to consider activating a Lucky Egg first. The Lucky Egg experience point bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour experience point bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for evolving Pokemon during this event.
