Pokemon Go November 9 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, November 8th, 2021 6:32 am

This will be a great time to transfer unwanted Pokemon!

The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event is scheduled to take place on November 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Chinchou will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive double the normal number of Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon to Professor Willow.

Chinchou is a Water- and Electric-type Pokemon from the second generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Chinchou into Lanturn using 50 Chinchou Candy.

Shiny Chinchou is available in Pokemon Go.

To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Chinchou to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Plus, if you currently have any unwanted Pokemon in your collection, you may want to hold onto them and transfer them during this event in order to earn double the normal number of Pokemon Candy for doing so.

Following this week’s event, there are still three more Spotlight Hours to look forward to in November 2021. On November 16, Turtwig will be the star, while Chimchar will be the featured Pokemon on November 23. Finally, Piplup will be the featured Pokemon during the Spotlight Hour event on November 30.
