Pokemon Go November 3 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 6:27 am

Get ready to load up on Stardust.

Trainers, it’s almost time for another Spotlight Hour event in Pokemon Go!

On November 3 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Cubone will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when capturing Pokemon. This Stardust bonus will apply to every Pokemon you capture during this event, and not just Cubone.

Cubone is a Ground-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Cubone into Marowak using 50 Cubone Candy.

If you want to make the most of this event, remember to activate a Star Piece in order to earn 50 percent more Stardust for 30 minutes.

Finally, keep in mind that Shiny Cubone can be found in Pokemon Go (it’s green instead of tan). While there’s no guarantee you’ll find one if you play during this week’s Spotlight Hour, you’ll be able to check quite a few Cubone in a short amount of time, so your chances of finding one will technically be increased.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, there are three more of these events to look forward to in November. On November 10, Jigglypuff will appear more frequently in the wild, while Meowth will be the star of November 17’s event. Finally, Barboach will be the featured Pokemon during the November 24 Spotlight Hour.
