Pokemon Go November 16 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

This will be a great time to stock up on Stardust!

Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event is scheduled to take place on November 16 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Turtwig will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.

Turtwig is a Grass-type Pokemon from the fourth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Turtwig into Grotle using 25 Turtwig Candy, and then evolve Grotle into Torterra using 100 Turtwig Candy.

To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Turtwig to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Plus, you can activate a Star Piece to earn even more Stardust for each Pokemon you capture. The Star Piece bonus would stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust during this one-hour event.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, there are still two more of these events scheduled to take place in November 2021. Chimchar will be the featured Pokemon on November 23, while Piplup will be featured on November 30.
