Pokemon Go November 10 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 7:42 am

The 'Balloon Pokemon' is the star of this week's event.

Trainers, it’s almost time for another Spotlight Hour event in Pokemon Go!

On November 10 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Jigglypuff will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal amount of experience points when capturing Pokemon. This experience point bonus will apply to every Pokemon you capture during this hour, and not just Jigglypuff.

Jigglypuff is a Normal- and Fairy-type Pokemon from the first Generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff using 50 Jigglypuff Candy.

To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate a Lucky Egg to earn even more experience points for a limited time. Plus, you can activate an Incense on your account to attract more wild Pokemon to your location during this one-hour event.

Finally, keep in mind that Shiny Jigglypuff does exist in Pokemon Go. While there’s no guarantee you’ll encounter one during this Spotlight Hour event, you will be able to check lots of Jigglypuff in a short amount of time, so your chances will technically be increased.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, there are still two more of these events to look forward to in November. Meowth will be the star of the Spotlight Hour event on November 17, while Barboach will be the featured Pokemon on November 24.
