Players can earn bonus experience points.
The final Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event in May 2022 will take place on May 31 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Pikipek will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Pikipek is a Flying-type Pokemon from the seventh generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Pikipek into Trumbreak using 25 Pikipek Candy, and then evolve Trumbeak into Toucannon using 100 Pikipek Candy.
As of this writing, Shiny Pikipek is not available in Pokemon Go.
While this is the final Spotlight Hour event in May 2022, players still have more of these events to look forward to, as four Spotlight Hour events are scheduled to take place in June 2022. You can view the full schedule in our previous coverage.
