The last event in March is almost here!
Trainers, the last Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour for March is set to take place on March 31 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
According to users on the The Silph Road subreddit, today’s event will see more Pokemon than normal spawn during that one-hour window. This is in keeping with the announcement Niantic, the game’s developer, made in late February, when it said we could expect to see “a surprising amount of Pokémon appearing in the wild” each Tuesday in March from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
With today’s event being the last Spotlight Hour in March, it’s possible next week’s event will actually feature an individual Pokemon, or at least something different than what we’ve seen throughout March. Some previous events have featured individual Pokemon (Onix and Spoink), so we’ll make sure to let you know what’s going on in the future.
In the meantime, if you want to make the most of this week’s event, we recommend activating an Incense to lure wild Pokemon to your current location. Or, if you’re willing to get out of the house, head to a location with lots of PokeStops or Gyms in a small area, since they should have lots of Pokemon spawn nearby.
