Pokemon Go March 15 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, March 14th, 2022 6:00 am

This event will give you the chance to stock up on Stardust!

The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on March 15, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Growlithe will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.

Growlithe is a Fire-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Growlithe into Arcanine using 50 Growlithe Candy.

To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Growlithe to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

You can also activate a Star Piece, which will allow you to earn 50 percent more Stardust for 30 minutes. The Stardust bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust in a short amount of time during this event.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, two more of these events are scheduled to take place in March 2022. Sudowoodo will be the featured Pokemon during the Spotlight Hour event on March 22, while Paras will be featured during the Spotlight Hour event on March 29.
