Pokemon Go March 10 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 7:37 am

There's not much time to plan ahead.

Trainers, this week’s Pokemon Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go will seem pretty familiar if you’ve kept up with past events.

As reported by Eurogamer, this week’s event will see more Pokemon spawn in the wild from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, without focusing on a particular pocket monster.

This is the third Pokemon Spotlight Hour to feature this same bonus since the feature originally debuted back in February. Two other Spotlight Hours featured individual Pokemon — Onix and Spoink.

While some trainers may be disappointed in the lack of a featured Pokemon this week, there are still ways to make the most of this event.

For instance, if you’re struggling to earn enough experience points to reach the next in-game level, you can activate a Lucky Egg on your account so you’ll earn double the amount of experience points for each Pokemon you capture from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Since more Pokemon will spawn than normal during this one-hour event, this will give you the chance to earn lots of experience points in a short amount of time. Or, if you’re after extra Stardust, you can activate a Star Piece instead (or even activate both items at the same time).
