Players can stock up on Stardust!
The final Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event in June 2022 is scheduled to take place on June 28, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG hat will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.
Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG hat was added to Pokemon Go as part of the game’s Pokemon TCG Crossover Event, which is going on from now until June 30, 2022 at 8 p.m. local time. You can learn more about Pokemon Go’s Pokemon TCG Crossover Event in our previous coverage.

To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG hat to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
Also remember that you can activate a Star Piece to earn even more Stardust when catching Pokemon for a limited time. The Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust for each Pokemon you capture during this event.
