Pokemon Go July 28 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 8:06 am

Mark your calendars.

Trainers, the final Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event in July is almost here!

On July 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Buizel will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll also receive two times the normal amount of experience points when you capture Pokemon. This experience point bonus will apply to every Pokemon you capture during this one-hour event, and not just Buizel.

Buizel is a Water-type Pokemon from Gen IV of the Pokemon universe. It can be evolved into Floatzel using 50 Buizel Candy.

If you want to make the most of this week’s event, remember to activate a Lucky Egg, which will double the amount of experience points you earn for completing in-game actions for 30 minutes. When you combine this Lucky Egg with the event’s experience point bonus, you’ll have the potential to receive a ton of experience points for each and every Pokemon you catch.

As of this writing, we don’t have any information related to Spotlight Hour events in the month of August, but we expect they’ll continue to take place. We’ll make sure to let you know everything that’s going on in Pokemon Go in August as soon as we learn more.
