Earn some bonus experience points!
Trainers, July 2021 is almost over, but there’s still one more Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour to look forward to this month.
On July 27 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Natu will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
Natu is a Psychic- and Flying-type Pokemon from the second generation of the Pokemon universe. It has a single evolution. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Natu in Xatu using 50 Natu Candy.
Shiny Natu is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Natu has an orange feather on its head, as well as orange feet and orange details on its wings. On a normal Natu, these features are all red. Shiny Natu is also a paler green color than normal Natu.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Natu to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
Plus, if you’re holding onto lots of Pokemon that can be evolved using only a few Pokemon Candy (like Weedle or Wurmple), you may want to consider evolving them during this event to earn the bonus experience points, even if you don’t intend to keep the Pokemon after they’re evolved.
