You can stock up on Stardust!
Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on January 11, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Diglett will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.
Diglett is a Ground-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Diglett into Dugtrio using 50 Diglett Candy.
Shiny Diglett is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Diglett has a blue nose, rather than a pink one.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Diglett to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
In addition, you can consider activating a Star Piece to earn 50 percent more Stardust for 30 minutes. This Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust in a short amount of time.
Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, there are still two more of these events scheduled to take place in January 2022. Plusle will be the featured Pokemon on January 18, while Minun will be the featured pocket monster on January 25.
