In Pokemon Go, there are a number of pocket monsters that have unique evolutionary families or requirements that need to be fulfilled before they can be evolved. For instance, Combee can only evolve if the Pokemon is female, while Burmy can be evolved into one of two Pokemon, depending on its gender.
Another Pokemon with a unique evolutionary system is Snorunt, an Ice-type Pokemon from Generation III of the Pokemon universe.
Snorunt has two possible evolutions — Glalie and Froslass — and its evolutionary process is affected by Snorunt’s gender.
If Snorunt is male, it can only be evolved into Glalie using 100 Snorunt Candy. However, if Snorunt is female, you can choose which Pokemon to evolve it into. You can still evolve female Snorunt into Glalie using 100 Snorunt Candy, or you can evolve female Snorunt into Froslass using 100 Snorunt Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
Thankfully, there’s no trick to evolving female Snorunt into either of these Pokemon. You simply need to view Snorunt’s page and tap the evolve button for the Pokemon you want.
