Pokemon Go Hoenn Mega Raid Day: Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Swampert

As spotted by Serebii.net, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, revealed a Hoenn Mega Raid Day event that’s coming soon to Pokemon Go.

The Hoenn Mega Raid Day event will take place on December 3, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

During this event, players will be able to battle Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Swampert in Mega Raids.

A variety of bonuses will be active during this event:

• Sceptile caught during this event will know the move Frenzy Plant.
• Blaziken caught during this event will know the move Blast Burn.
• Swampert caught during this event will know the move Hydro Cannon.
• Players will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Sceptile, Shiny Blaziken, and Shiny Swampert.
• Players will be able to collect up to five extra free Raid Passes by spinning the Photo Discs at Gyms during this event.

In addition, players will have the option to spend $5 on a ticket that will give them access to additional bonuses during this event. These bonuses will remain active from December 3, 2022 at 2 p.m. local time until December 3, 2022 at 10 p.m. local time. Players will have the option to purchase this ticket for themselves, and they’ll also have the option to purchase the ticket as a gift for an in-game friend.

Here are the bonuses that are included with this ticket:

• Ticket holders will be able to collect six extra free Raid Passes by spinning the Photo Discs at Gyms (ticket holders will be able to collect up to 12 free Raid Passes on December 3, 2022 in total).
• Ticket holders will have an increased chance of receiving Rare Candy XL
• Ticket holders will receive 50 percent more experience points from Raids
• Ticket holders will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust from Raids
