This will be a great time to evolve some Pokemon!
Trainers the first Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event in February 2022 is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Litleo will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
Litleo is a Normal- and Fire-type Pokemon from the sixth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Litleo into Pyroar using 50 Litleo Candy.
As of this writing, Shiny Litleo is not available in Pokemon Go. (Update 01/31/2022): Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, announced Shiny Litleo will be released in Pokemon Go on February 1 as part of the game’s Lunar New Year event.
To make the most of this event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Litleo to capture and more chances to stock up on Litleo Candy.
In addition, if you plan on evolving lots of Pokemon during this event to take advantage of the experience point bonus, you can also consider activating a Lucky Egg to increase the number of experience points you earn even more.
