Pokemon Go December 7 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, December 6th, 2021 7:44 am

This will be a great time to transfer unwanted Pokemon.

Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event is set to take place on December 7, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Electabuzz will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal number of Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon to Professor Willow.

Electabuzz is an Electric-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Electabuzz into Electivire using 100 Electabuzz Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.

To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Electabuzz to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Plus, we recommend holding onto any unwanted Pokemon that you capture between now and this Spotlight Hour event. That way, you can transfer them during the event to earn two times the normal number of Pokemon Candy for doing so.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, three more of these events are scheduled to take place in December 2021. Here’s the calendar:

  • December 14 – Magmar
  • December 21 – Snover
  • December 28 – Cubchoo
