Pokemon Go December 29 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 6:00 am

Brr!

Trainers, it’s almost time for the final Spotlight Hour event of the year to take place in Pokemon Go!

On December 29 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Snover will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon. These bonus experience points will apply to every Pokemon you evolve during this time, and not just Snover.

Snover is a Grass- and Ice-type Pokemon from Generation IV of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, it can be evolved into Abomasnow using 50 Snover Candy.

To make the most of this event, remember to activate an Incense to attract more wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you the chance to encounter lots of Snover in a short amount of time, and you may even find a Shiny one (unfortunately there’s no guarantee).

While this is the last Spotlight Hour event in December 2020 (and in the entire year), we expect these Spotlight Hours will continue to take place into January and beyond. Keep checking back with SuperParent, as we’ll bring you all of the details about these events if and when they’re announced!
