Pokemon Go December 21 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

Monday, December 20th, 2021 7:06 am

You'll have the chance to earn lots of experience points!

Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event is scheduled to take place on December 21, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Snover will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.

Snover is a Grass- and Ice-type Pokemon from the fourth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Snover into Abomasnow using 50 Snover Candy.

Shiny Snover is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Snover has dark blue arms, among other color differences.

In order to make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Snover to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Plus, you can activate a Lucky Egg in order to earn double the normal number of experience points for completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points during this event.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, there’s still one more of these events to look forward to in December 2021. On December 28, Cubchoo will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal number of Pokemon Candy when catching Pokemon.
