Each event will take place across two days.
Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, announced three City Safari events will take place around the world in fall 2023.
These ticketed events will take place in Seoul, South Korea; Barcelona, Spain; and Mexico City, Mexico. Here’s the schedule:
While each event will run for two days, each player will only be able to purchase a ticket for one of the two days for each event. That is, a single player can’t attend the same event across both days. Here are the ticket prices:
During each event, ticket holders will receive a series of Special Research tasks that will allow them to encounter Eevee wearing an explorer hat. In addition, during these events, a special selection of Pokemon will appear in the wild, and players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks. A different selection of Pokemon will appear in the wild during each event. You can view the full lineups on Pokemon Go’s website.
Four in-game bonuses will be available to ticket holders throughout each event:
Finally, ticket holders will have the option to purchase up to three premium add-ons for their City Safari experience. One add-on is focused on completing Raids, a second is focused on hatching Eggs, and a third is focused on “Citywide Gameplay.”
The Citywide Gameplay add-on will allow ticket holders to access in-game bonuses on the day of the event they didn’t choose. For instance, if someone purchases an October 7 ticket for the Seoul, South Korea City Safari event and then purchases the Citywide Gameplay add-on, they’ll receive access to a variety of in-game bonuses on October 8.
You can learn more about these ticket add-ons on Pokemon Go’s website.
