Players can earn bonus experience points for a limited time.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on August 9, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Nidoran♀ will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will earn two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Nidoran♀ is a Poison-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Nidoran♀ into Nidorina using 25 Nidoran♀ Candy, and then evolve Nidorina into Nidoqueen using 100 Nidoran♀ Candy.
Shiny Nidoran♀ is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Nidoran♀ is pink, rather than blue.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Nidoran♀ to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
In addition, you can activate a Lucky Egg to earn more experience points for completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each Pokemon you capture during this event.
