Players will be able to earn extra Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on August 23, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Nidoran♂ will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon.
Nidoran♂ is a Poison-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Nidoran♂ into Nidorino using 25 Nidoran♂ Candy, and then evolve Nidorino into Nidoking using 100 Nidoran♂ Candy.
Shiny Nidoran♂ is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Nidoran♂ is blue, rather than purple.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Nidoran♂ to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
Following this week’s Spotlight Hour event, one more of these events is scheduled to take place in August 2022. On August 30, Pidove will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
