Check out the game's new trailer!

Warner Bros. Games and developer TT Games revealed a new launch date for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The largest Lego game to date, covering all three Star Wars film trilogies, Skywalker Saga is now set for an April 5, 2022 launch.

A new trailer was released to pair with the announcement, showing off new gameplay elements and more.

The video shows off a wealth of new combat mechanics, showing a drastic departure from what Lego game fans have grown accustomed to over the years. Melee combat includes aerial maneuvers, combo strings, counter attacks, and various character-based actions. Shooting sequences take an over-the-shoulder perspective, and the trailer also shows action and exploration sequences in space

Of course, Skywalker Saga still looks like a Lego video game through and through, with its familiar character design and animations, puzzles, goofy building spots, and comedic reinterpretations of classic sequences from the movies.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is set to launch on April 5, 2022 for Switch, PS4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
