Animal Crossing New Horizons Bunny Day Guide

Here are the Eggs and recipes you can collect during this event!

Throughout the year, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be updated with limited time events celebrating various holidays. The game’s first event is Bunny Day, and it takes place from April 1 to April 12, 2020.

This event introduces you to Zipper T. Bunny, who has hidden colorful Eggs (think Easter Eggs) all over your island! As you collect these Eggs, you’ll be able to use them to craft adorable Bunny Day-themed items.

The first time you talk to Zipper, he’ll introduce you to this event, and he’ll even give you your first Bunny Day DIY recipe to help you get started. It’s for the Bunny Day Bed.

You can collect Eggs in six different ways, and these six Eggs have different names. Here’s the breakdown.

Earth Eggs can be found by using your shovel on dig spots. These dig spots look just like the ones that contain fossils.

Water Eggs can be found by fishing. The Eggs will have the silhouette of a fish, so you won’t know it’s an Egg until you’ve actually fished it up.

Sky Eggs can be found in the presents attached to colorful balloons that you can shoot with your slingshot. You won’t know an Egg is in the present until you’ve popped the balloon.

Leaf Eggs can be found growing on trees, just like fruit!

Stone Eggs can be found by hitting a rock with a shovel. They’ll appear alongside regular resources like Stones and Iron Nuggets.

Wood Eggs can be found by hitting a tree with an axe. They will pop out alongside regular Wood, Hardwood, etc.

Zipper has also hidden DIY recipes around your island. For instance, you can find them in the presents attached to the balloons that you can shoot with your slingshot, and in Egg Message Bottles that appear on the beach. If you collect and craft all of the DIY recipes that Zipper has hidden, he’ll give you a “super-di-doopery present.”
