Players can earn extra experience points for a limited time.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on April 25, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Tangela will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Tangela is a Grass-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Tangela into Tangrowth using 100 Tangela Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
Shiny Tangela is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Tangela is green, rather than blue.
To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Tangela to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
You can also activate a Lucky Egg to double the number of experience points you earn when completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each Pokemon you capture during this event.
