Become a master of the paranormal in this premium add-on.

Halloween is still months away, but, as Polygon spotted, that isn’t stopping Electronic Arts from celebrating all things spooky with the next update for The Sims 4.

The game’s next add-on — the “Paranormal Stuff Pack” — will focus on haunted houses, ghosts, and more.

For instance, the Paranormal Stuff Pack will add a new “Haunted House” lot type to the game, which allows your Sims to live in haunted houses inhabited by ghosts. This includes a helpful spirit named Claude René Duplantier Guidry (the Ghost), who will teach you how to calm the spirits and cleanse your home.

The ghosts may sometimes leave accursed objects in your home, and you can clean them up. According to EA’s website, you’ll also be able to perform séances “to sense the mood of specters,” as well as offer them gifts. If you make a ghost happy, your Sim may receive a gift in exchange.

This add-on will also allow players to summon spirits like Guidry and Bonehilda the maid in order to build their Sims’ “Medium skill.”

Finally, this add-on will allow players to earn a “Paranormal Investigator License” that allows them to become a freelance investigator and pick up jobs to earn extra in-game currency.

The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack will be released on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on January 26. You’ll need to own the base game of The Sims 4 in order to access this add-on content.

The Sims 4 is rated T for Teen by the ESRB. While the game is generally family-friendly (you create characters called Sims and guide them through their daily lives), it does contain some mature content, such as the ability to engage in romantic relationships and have children.
