Gabb Wireless has revealed its newest tech product for kids: the Gabb Watch Lite.

The Gabb Watch Lite is a smartwatch with features that are designed to introduce kids to technology in a safe way, while also allowing parents to stay connected with their children.

The Gabb Watch Lite includes a number of features:

  • GPS location tracking
  • Customizable safe zones – Parents can be notified when a child enters or exits a zone they’ve set
  • Gabb Moji – Parents and kids can communicate using five emoji, which they can assign their own meanings to
  • SOS and emergency contact alerts
  • Step counter
  • Digital clock

In addition to being worn as a smartwatch with a wristband, the Gabb Watch Lite can be placed inside a carabiner case that can be attached to something like a backpack. The carabiner case will be sold separately.

In a press release, Gabb CEO, Nate Randle, commented on the Gabb Watch Lite:

“The Watch Lite extends Gabb’s product lineup to account for even younger kids and is the perfect first-step technology device. We’re excited to continue expanding our offerings in ways that will protect kids while keeping them connected to their parents.”

The Gabb Watch Lite will be released in early December 2021 for $79.99. Pre-orders are available now on the Gabb Wireless website. Cellular plans for the device will start at $6.99 per month.

The carabiner case will be available to purchase separately for $9.99. It will be available in three colors: blue, purple, and black. It’s also available to pre-order now on Gabb’s website.
