Pokemon Unite: How to Turn Off Voice Chat

There's a simple setting to change!

Pokemon Unite is now available on Nintendo Switch, and it’s coming soon to mobile devices. The multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA) allows players to compete in five-vs-five Pokemon battles with other real people.

By default, players can communicate with one another through both text and voice chat, but you have the option to turn these features off if you’d rather not hear from other players. Turning these features off should also help prevent you (and your kids) from running into mature content (like mature language) while playing.

Here’s how to turn off voice chat in Pokemon Unite on Switch!

On the game’s main menu, press the “X” button.

And that’s all there is to it! If you ever want to turn voice chat back on at a later time, just repeat these steps to turn the feature back on.
