The game's next expansion will include over 230 new cards to collect.
Just a few days ago, we learned about the newest expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG): Hidden Fates. Products in the expansion, which includes over 150 new cards, will be released throughout the fall.
Now, we can already look ahead to what comes after Hidden Fates, as The Pokemon Company released details about the game’s next expansion: Sun & Moon – Cosmic Eclipse.
The Cosmic Eclipse expansion will launch on November 1, 2019. It will contain over 230 new cards, including two new TAG TEAM trio cards: Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX and Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX.
Overall, the expansion will include nine TAG TEAM Pokemon-GX cards, seven Pokemon-GX cards, more than 20 Trainer cards, a new Special Energy card, and new TAG TEAM Supporter cards, which feature two characters (for instance, Red & Blue or Cynthia & Caitlin) on a single Trainer card.
When the Cosmic Eclipse expansion launches, it will be available to browse in the Pokemon TCG Card Dex mobile app, and it will also be supported in Pokemon TCG Online. Finally, Cosmic Eclipse will be a standard legal deck that’s available to use in competitive play.
