Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 7:43 am

For a limited time, you can battle (and potentially capture) this fluffy pocket monster.

Trainers, for a limited time, Gigantamax Eevee is appearing in Max Raid Battles in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield!

From now until May 25, 2020, you’ll have the chance to find Gigantamax Eevee in a Pokemon Den in your own Wild Area, as well as join other players in battles they may have started in their own games.

If you want to add Gigantamax Eevee to your Pokemon collection, our guide is here to help you find one!

First, start by visiting the Pokemon Dens in your own Wild Area that have a beam of light coming out of them.

When you interact with one of these Dens, you’ll see the silhouette of the Pokemon that’s inside for you to battle. You’re looking for the silhouette in the screenshot below — that’s Gigantamax Eevee!

If you don’t find Gigantamax Eevee in an active Max Raid Battle, you can cause new battles to appear in your Wild Area by completing all of the battles that are currently active.

Plus, you can cause Pokemon to appear in Pokemon Dens at any time by using Wishing Pieces. Just interact with a Den that doesn’t have an active Max Raid Battle to collect your Watts. Then interact with the Den again. You’ll be asked if you want to use a Wishing Piece. When you select “Yes,” a Pokemon will appear in the Den for you to battle, and there’s the chance (though not the guarantee) that it will be Gigantamax Eevee!

Finally, you may be able to take on Gigantamax Eevee by joining a battle being hosted by another player. To do this, open the game’s Y-COMM menu and look for the Gigantamax Eevee silhouette on one of the stamps. If you’re fast enough, you may be able to join the trainer’s battle and take on Gigantamax Eevee!
