Mantyke is one of many 'little' Pokemon that are appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles for a limited time.

As part of a new event in Pokemon Sword and Shield, lots of “little” Pokemon, like Riolu, Ditto, and Mantyke, are appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles.

If you’re looking for a Mantyke to add to your pocket monster collection, our guide will show you how to find a Dynamax Mantyke in a Max Raid Battle.

There are multiple ways to find a Dynamax Mantyke. First, you can check the Pokemon Dens in the Wild Area that have a light shooting out of them into the sky.

When you interact with one of these Dens, look for the silhouette in the screenshot below. If you see this silhouette, you’ve found a Dynamax Mantyke to battle!

If you’ve searched all of the Pokemon Dens in your Wild Area and you still haven’t found Mantyke, you can trigger the appearance of a Pokemon in a Den by throwing a Wishing Piece into it.

To do this, just interact with a Pokemon Den that doesn’t have an active Max Raid Battle to collect your Watts. Then interact with the Den a second time. The game will ask you if you want to use a Wishing Piece. Select “Yes” and a Pokemon will appear in the Den for you to battle. There’s a chance it may be Mantyke!

In addition, you can cause more Max Raid Battles to appear in the Wild Area by completing all of the battles that are currently active.

Finally, if you connect to the internet, you can potentially find Mantyke in a Raid being hosted by another player. Just look for the Mantyke silhouette on one of the stamps in the list. If you’re fast enough, you may be able to join the other player’s battle to take on Mantyke!
