Pokemon Sword and Shield: Grassland Pokemon Footprint Locations

Here's where to find 50 of these footprints.

In The Crown Tundra expansion for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, players can help Professor Sonia track down three Legendary Pokemon (Sonia calls them the Grassland, Iron Will, and Cavern Pokemon) by finding footprints scattered throughout the Crown Tundra area.

Each time you find a set of footprints, you’ll receive two percent of the data necessary to track the Pokemon who left the footprints behind. That means you’ll need to find 50 sets of footprints for each of the three Pokemon before you can actually locate them.

In our experience tracking down the Grassland Pokemon, there are more than 50 sets of “grassland footprints” available to find in the Crown Tundra (many are located in the Giant’s Bed area). However, tracking down even 50 of them may take you a while if you go it alone.

To help you out, we’ve created a video guide showing you the exact path you can take to find 50 sets of footprints for the Grassland Pokemon. Check it out below!

Even if you use our guide, the process of traveling through the Crown Tundra to collect all of these footprints may still take you a while. That being the case, you may want to check out the ChargePlay Clutch from HyperX. It can extend your device’s battery life so you can play Pokemon Sword and Shield (and other Switch games) for a longer period of time before having to charge your Switch. Head over to HyperX’s website to learn more about the ChargePlay Clutch and the company’s other accessories.

Once you’ve found the 50 Grassland Pokemon footprints you need, check out our other guides to see where you can find 50 Cavern Pokemon and Iron Will Pokemon footprints!
