You can now buy each game and its Expansion Pass at the same time.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield were originally released on Switch in late 2019. They take players to the beautiful Galar region of the Pokemon universe, where they can become a Pokemon trainer, collect hundreds of different pocket monsters, compete in Pokemon battles against computer-controlled opponents, and more.

Following the release of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, a premium Expansion Pass was released for the games earlier this year. It allows players to go on new adventures in the Galar region by visiting The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, areas that aren’t accessible unless you own the Expansion Pass.

While owners of Pokemon Sword and/or Pokemon Shield can purchase the Expansion Pass on its own for $29.99 (there’s a separate pass to purchase for each game), if your family has yet to dive into either of these games at all, you can now pick up Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield, along with its associated Expansion Pass, in a bundle at the same time.

The Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Expansion Pass Bundles are available for $89.99 each. That price accounts for the game’s normal price of $59.99, and the $30 price of the Expansion Pass. In other words, you don’t receive a discount for purchasing one of these games and its Expansion Pass at the same time, but if someone in your family wants to try Sword or Shield, purchasing one of these bundles is the easiest way to ensure they can enjoy everything these games have to offer.

Plus, when you purchase one of these bundles, you’ll receive three in-game bonuses: 100 Poke Balls and two codes that allow you to unlock Pikachu and Eevee Uniforms for your in-game avatar. These outfits were previously given away to trainers who purchased the base game of Sword or Shield and its Expansion Pass separately.
