Niantic announced the real-world events we can look forward to in the first half of 2020.

Trainers, mark your calendars! Niantic, the creator of Pokemon Go, revealed four real-world Pokemon Go events that will be taking place around the world in the first half of 2020.

The first event will take place in Taichung City, Taiwan from February 6-9 during the Taiwan Lantern Festival. This event will be open to everyone in the area, with no need to buy a ticket. The event will feature Mareep, Electrike, Volbeat, Illumise (which is typically not available in the area), Unown L, and Chimecho.

Next, the first Safari Zone event of the year will take place in St. Louis, Missouri from March 27 to March 29. The event will be held in Tower Grove Park, and you’ll need a ticket to participate. Tickets will go on sale in the Pokemon Go app on January 24, and they’ll be available on a first come, first served basis. Regular tickets will cost $12, while “early access tickets” will cost $18. If you purchase the early access pass, you’ll be able to begin the event two hours early.

The St. Louis Safari Zone event will feature Mankey, Unown S, Teddiursa, Snivy, and Ferroseed. In addition, Chatot, which is normally only available in the southern hemisphere, will appear for attendees to capture during the event.

The next Safari Zone event will be held in Liverpool, England from April 17 to April 19. The ticketed event will take place in Sefton Park, with tickets going on sale on January 31. As with the St. Louis Safari Zone event, tickets for the Liverpool event will be sold on a first come, first served basis. General tickets will cost £12, and early access tickets will cost £18. Early access passes will give you two extra hours to participate in the event.

For this event, players will run into Krabby, Dratini, Chinchou, Unown V, and Oshawott. Plus, attendees will have the chance to encounter Relicanth, which isn’t typically found in England.

Finally, a Safari Zone event will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from May 8 to May 10. Regular tickets will cost $12 and early access tickets will be $18. They’ll be sold on a first come, first served basis. Niantic didn’t announce when these tickets will go on sale, and we still don’t know where the event will actually be held within Philadelphia, but we’ll make sure to let you know when more details are revealed.
