During Pokemon Go Fest 2021, Pokemon Go players worked together to complete a series of in-game challenges in the game’s Global Challenge Arena. Since players were able to complete all 24 challenges that were available during Go Fest 2021, three limited-time “Ultra Unlock” events are coming to Pokemon Go as a reward.
The Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time event will run from July 23 at 10 a.m. local time to August 3 at 8 p.m. local time.
During this event, Voltorb, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Baltoy, Cranidos, Shieldon, and other Pokemon will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players may encounter Shiny Cranidos and/or Shiny Shieldon.
In addition, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon will have the chance to hatch from 7 km Eggs that are collected during this event.
From July 23 at 10 a.m. local time until August 6 at 10 a.m. local time, the following Pokemon will appear in Raids:
Finally, players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research and Timed Research tasks to receive in-game rewards (including Pokemon encounters) during this event. The Timed Research for this event will be available to complete until August 3 at 8 p.m. local time.
