Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto Bonus Event Timed Research Tasks Guide

These tasks are available to players who purchased a ticket for a previous event.

On February 20, Pokemon Go held a partially ticketed event called Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto, which allowed players to encounter and capture lots of pocket monsters from the Kanto region of the Pokemon universe for a limited time.

Due to a technical issue, some players received access to the paid portion of the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event for free, even though they hadn’t purchased a ticket to unlock it.

Since some players received free access to content that others paid real money for, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, has launched a Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto Bonus Event for paid ticket holders that will run from now until April 5 (learn more about this event in our previous coverage).

As part of this Bonus Event, players who purchased a ticket for the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event will be able to complete a series of Timed Research tasks to receive a variety of in-game rewards.
