Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn Is Coming to Las Vegas in February 2023

Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, revealed details about the Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn event that will take place in February 2023.

Pokemon Go will host two versions of this event. Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 18-19, 2023, while Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn – Global will take place for players around the world on February 25-26, 2023.

Players can visit Pokemon Go’s website to view all of the details about both versions of this event, but here are the highlights:

Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas

Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 18 and February 19, 2023. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT on both days.

Tickets for this event are now available for $25 until December 31, 2022. After that time, the price for a ticket will increase to $30. Ticket holders will have the option to purchase special “Upgrades” for their ticket to unlock additional bonuses during the real-world event.

• Ticket holders will be able to complete a Special Research story that has them work alongside Team Go Rocket.
• Ticket holders will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon from the Hoenn region of the Pokemon universe.
• Ticket holders will be able to complete “Primal Surge Field Research” tasks to receive encounters with Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre.
• Normal Forme Deoxys, Attack Forme Deoxys, Defense Forme Deoxys, and Speed Forme Deoxys will appear in Tier-5 Raids.
• Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon will appear in Primal Raids.
• Four themed “habitats” will be available during the event, which will see different Pokemon appear in the wild. The four habitats are called “Blistering Sands,” “Eerie Mists,” “Verdant Earth,” and “Ancient Shores.”

Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn – Global

Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn – Global will take place on February 25 and February 26, 2023. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on both days.

• Players will be able to complete a Special Research story featuring Rhi.
• Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip will appear in Tier-1 Raids.
• Normal Forme Deoxys, Attack Forme Deoxys, Defense Forme Deoxys, and Speed Forme Deoxys will appear in Tier-5 Raids.
• Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon will appear in Primal Raids.
• Four themed “habitats” will be available during the event, which will see different Pokemon appear in the wild. The four habitats are called “Blistering Sands,” “Eerie Mists,” “Verdant Earth,” and “Ancient Shores.”
