Here's your chance to earn free Rare Candies and an encounter with Groudon!
Trainers, the Hoenn portion of Pokemon Go’s Throwback Challenge 2020 event has started!
From now until May 22 at 1 p.m. local time, a variety of bonuses and changes will be active in Pokemon Go that focus on the Hoenn region of the Pokemon universe. Check out our previous coverage to see everything that’s happening.
During this event, you’ll be able to complete a nine-part series of Special Research tasks (that are also themed after the Hoenn region) in order to earn a variety of in-game rewards, including Rare Candies and an encounter with a Groudon that knows the move Fire Punch.
Here’s what these tasks ask you to do!
