Pokemon Go The Seasons Change: Part 1 Timed Research Tasks Guide

A special Autumn Event is going on now in Pokemon Go, which is causing certain Pokemon (like Oddish, Bayleef, and Vulpix) to appear more often in the wild.

During this event, players can complete a new series of Timed Research tasks called “The Seasons Change: Part 1.” While the Autumn Event itself will end on October 12 at 1 p.m. PT, you have more time (11 days, as of this writing) to finish these new Timed Research tasks.

Here’s what these tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them.

The Seasons Change: Part 1 (Part 1)

• Catch 10 Pokemon – 10 Poke Balls
• Make 5 Nice Throws – An encounter with Zigzagoon
• Transfer 5 Pokemon – An encounter with Shroomish

Final Rewards: 500 Stardust, 500 experience points, and an encounter with Vulpix when all three tasks are completed

The Seasons Change: Part 1 (Part 2)

• Use 3 Razz Berries to Help Catch Pokemon – 5 Razz Berries
• Use 3 Nanab Berries to Help Catch Pokemon – 5 Nanab Berries
• Use 3 Pinap Berries to Help Catch Pokemon – 5 Pinap Berries

Final Rewards: 3 Revives, 500 Stardust, and 500 experience points when all three tasks are completed

The Seasons Change: Part 1 (Part 3)

• Give Your Buddy 2 Treats – 750 Stardust
• Earn 1 Heart With Your Buddy – 750 Stardust
• Earn a Candy Walking With Your Buddy – 750 Stardust

Final Rewards: 1 Pinap Berry, 750 Stardust, and 750 experience points when all three tasks are completed

• Automatically Completed Task – 1,000 experience points
• Automatically Completed Task – 1,000 experience points
• Automatically Completed Task – 1,000 experience points

Final Rewards: 1,000 experience points, 1,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Autumn Deerling when all three tasks are completed
