Players can receive a free Mossy Lure Module.

Trainers, the Sustainability Week 2022 event is coming soon to Pokemon Go!

This event will run from April 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. local time to April 25, 2022 at 8 p.m. local time.

Once this event begins, Oranguru will become available to collect in Pokemon Go. Shiny Cherubi will also be added to Pokemon Go at this time.

During the Sustainability Week 2022 event, Oddish, Grimer, Turtwig, Grotle, Cherubi, Trubbish, Ferroseed, and Oranguru will appear more frequently than normal in the wild. Venusaur and Phantump will also have the chance to appear in the wild, though the Pokemon Go website indicated they’ll be rarer than the other Pokemon that will appear during this event.

Next, players will have the chance to hatch Alolan Diglett, Larvitar, Cherubi, and Oranguru from 7 km Eggs that are collected during this event.

Players will also receive two times the bonus experience points when spinning the Photo Disc at a PokeStop for the first time during this event.

Once the Sustainability Week 2022 event begins, players will be able to claim a free Mossy Lure Module from the in-game shop.

During this event, Gloom, Weepinbell, Chikorita, Grotle, Cherubi, and Sewaddle will be attracted to Mossy Lure Modules. Alolan Diglett, Bellossom, and Nincada will also have the chance to appear when using Mossy Lure Modules, but the Pokemon Go website indicated they’ll be rarer than the other Pokemon that will be attracted to these Modules.

Players will be able to complete a Collection Challenge during this event in order to earn a Mossy Lure Module and 15 Great Balls.

Players will also be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event to receive encounters with Turtwig, Cherubi, Snivy, Trubbish, Chespin, and Phantump. Additional Field Research tasks will be available that reward players with Mega Venusaur Energy and Mega Abomasnow Energy.

Finally, special Timed Research tasks will be available to complete on April 23 from 10 a.m. local time to 8 p.m. local time (this is the day of the game’s next Community Day event). According to the Pokemon Go website, each step in the Timed Research will require players to walk 1 km, and will reward players with an encounter with Cherubi. Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, said it will plant a tree for each player who walks 5 km during Community Day, up to 100,000 trees.
