Pokemon Go Season of Legends Special Research Tasks Guide

Pokemon Go’s Season of Legends began on March 1, 2021, and it will run until June 1, 2021. This Season focuses on Legendary Pokemon, and it will, in part, feature the arrival of Therian Forme Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus in Pokemon Go (to learn more about the Season of Legends, check out our previous coverage).

As part of the Season of Legends, players can complete a new storyline of Special Research tasks for Professor Willow, which is appropriately called “Season of Legends.” There are five parts to this Season of Legends Special Research, and each part has three different tasks to complete.

According to Leek Duck, here’s what these Season of Legends Special Research tasks ask players to do, and the rewards trainers will receive for completing them.

Season of Legends Part 1

• Catch 10 Rock-type Pokemon – 10 Poke Balls
• Make 5 Great Throws – 10 Great Balls
• Transfer 10 Pokemon – 10 Pinap Berries

Final Rewards: 500 Stardust, 1,500 experience points, and an encounter with Kabuto

Season of Legends Part 2

• Catch 10 Ground-type Pokemon – 10 Hyper Potions
• Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost – 1 Mossy Lure Module
• Take a Snapshot of Landorus – 10 Landorus Candy

Final Rewards: 500 Stardust, 2,000 experience points, and an encounter with Drilbur

Season of Legends Part 3

• Catch 10 Flying-type Pokemon – 5 Max Revives
• Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost – 1 Fast TM
• Take a Snapshot of Tornadus – 10 Tornadus Candy

Final Rewards: 500 Stardust, 2,000 experience points, and an encounter with Ducklett

Season of Legends Part 4

• Catch 10 Electric-type Pokemon – 10 Ultra Balls
• Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost – 1 Charged TM
• Take a Snapshot of Thundurus – 10 Thundurus Candy

Final Rewards: 500 Stardust, 2,000 experience points, and an encounter with Joltik

Season of Legends Part 5

• Automatically Completed Task – 2,000 experience points
• Automatically Completed Task – 2,000 experience points
• Automatically Completed Task – 2,000 experience points

Final Rewards: 5,000 experience points, 1 Unova Stone, and an encounter with Munna
