You can earn an encounter with Flying Pikachu!
The Pokemon Air Adventures event has kicked off in Pokemon Go!
This event will run from May 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. local time to May 8, 2022 at 8 p.m. local time. With the start of this event, Mega Latias and Mega Latios have been added to Pokemon Go. You can learn more about the Pokemon Air Adventures event in our previous coverage.
As part of the Pokemon Air Adventures event, players can complete Timed Research tasks to earn Mega Energy for Latias and Latios, as well as an encounter with Flying Pikachu.
According to Leek Duck, the Pokemon Air Adventures Timed Research only has one “part” to complete.

Final Rewards: 3,000 experience points and an encounter with Flying Pikachu
Keep in mind, Flying Pikachu doesn’t count as a Flying-type Pokemon. This means you’ll need to catch 40 Pokemon in total to complete this Timed Research.
